Brian Ashton and Richard Ferguson have worked together on several projects since 2000, when they began making plans for the first annual Mountains & Strings Chamber Music Retreat. Before that, they were both students at Ricks College, now BYU-Idaho. In 1999, Brian began working at Ferguson Music Company, where he discovered that besides a few of Richard's idiosyncracies, they had many fundamental ideals in common. It wasn't long before they knew they would make a great team. Since then, every project they have done together has been very successful, due to their dedication to the fundmental principles upon which the Yellowstone Chamber Orchestra is based.
